yeah i did all the side quests too that they give you before the black omen (magus did not seem optional to me although that might just be a new thing for the version)

did you have magus??? I know he is optional...i beat it a long time ago for SNES.

i beat it (CURSE YOU BLACK OMEN) that was my least favorite part of the game cuz i accidentally went inside once it appeared and went 3/4s of the way through and then went online to look up how to beat a boss and realized that i shouldnt be there yet went all the back through the enemies (AGAIN)then left the place and then revived you know who (dont want to ruin the game for anyone) what a frustration though also i dont know if glenn is my favorite i think mine would be lucca just cuz i like the way she is good at using and repairing machines and what not but my most valuable character would be marle since iused her to heal and save my butt all the time the only problem i had with the game is running from enemies since my L button didnt work so i faced every enemy and got kinda annoyed but thats the only real downfall and it was my fault too
